Americans Demand Affordable Healthcare

Americans rallied outside the Democratic National Committee calling for affordable healthcare in the United States. President Obama has said that reforming healthcare is one of his top priorities, but so far partisan politics has gotten in the way of actually accomplishing anything. 46 million Americans have no health insurance, and many say that there needs to be better options for those who can’t afford private health insurance.

I am told there is no publicly funded provision in the Bill???
I once thought that healthcare was a right until that last protestor spoke. She said to get healthcare for her family she would have to sell her house and rent an apartment. Guess what, we all have to make tough financial choices. I graduated with an advanced degree because I chose to study, I work more than 50 hours a week to provide healthcare to my family. These protesters should do the same instead of asking me and other middle class Americans to pay their bill for a single payer option

I am not sure about a right to ride in an ambulance… but taking Bill Gates’ and Warren Buffet’s money should be a right and not a priviledge, as it is said so in the book of Nostradamus. I also think we should take money from the Rockefellers and Kennedys — the largest scammer families in America.
It’s sad that she has an option and is choosing to FREELOAD. Buck up and make the choice, don’t saddle my taxpaying back with your problems.
Most Americans have healthcare and our care we have now works wonderfully.
This is no way to convince 86% of America’s 21st century democracy to sacrifice liberty and create a new credit bubble via healthcare payments, so that 14% of Americans, which includes millions of illegal immigrants from south America and Mexico, can have ENSURANCE. Government healthcare has been the dream of government since the time of Teddy Roosevelt and the creation of the FED. Be sure to vote, in 2010, and vote the Democrats out.
Actually, she has a valid point. She’s referring to policy which allows hospital corps to chrge any amount they want. They can bite you, too, despite your 50hrs.
A $500 MRI can be billed at $9,000 to some1 who hasn’t opprtunity to negotiate in advance–e.g. accident victim. Courts support it, perhaps b/c judges are appointed by legislators who r either ‘sponsored’ or who simply don’t understnd how the system works so they can’t fix it.

RT usually has pretty good commentary on these types of issues, but I don’t think they fully understand this one. Whereas the system does have major problems, national legislation isn’t necessarily the best way to solve this. It’s probably the worst way.

With that said, I don’t blame the protesters who favor nationalized h/c. But I think state-level solution would produce better quality.
